I loved this game, it reminded me a lot of that OLD game Full Throttle. If you liked that or Monkey Island youll like this game. Very nostalgic. Only down side it was expecting it to be longer.

Update: The save problem had to do with my web browser’s settings (Firefox) that cleared all browser data automatically upon close, thus wiping out the flash save data folder. I am now giving this game 5 stars. Original Review: This is a great game, that unfortunately has problems with saving, and not just on this platform. I tried all of the options listed on their support site, but since most of them are for the online version, sifting through their site has made it very tedious, and ultimately futile. The best solution they provide is to download the save point from their site every time you want to play, which forces an internet connection for a game that is theoretically playable offline. I suppose some might say this is also a part of the game, but frankly, i dont want to have to restart from scratch every time i go to play, nor do i want to have to manual download &/or backup my save games at the end of each run. Fix the save game problem, and I will make this a five star review.

i really wanted to give this game the full five stars. The artwork is beautiful, and the game play is challenging and keeps you thinking and on your toes. Unfortunately there is a glitch when it comes to saving the game. Long story short, it doesnt do it. They have multiple threads on their site dedicated to trying to combat this problem but none of them have a high success rate. Its really upsetting that they never came out with a patch for this problem. I put several long gaming sessions into this only to wind up having my progress lost, twice. I really dont feel like starting the game all over again for the third time so Ill never know how it ends. This is a real bummer.

I loved this game until it became impossible to move on. If the developer could contact me with information on fixing this bug it would be appreciated. Otherwise that was ten dollars wasted on a potentially great game.

It is still not saving. It is a five star game but the producers has to solve this problem cause it is beyond endurance to start all over again.

This has to be my favorite game purchased from the App store. Its addicting, its fun and it can get challenging. There are a lot of puzzles throughout the game, which require one to think carefully and to strategize. Throughout the game, one cannot help but admire the graphics – the artwork, and, of course, the music. It’s all very enchanting. The storyline is cute and I always wanted to continue playing to see what would happen next. The controls are easy and it’s a game to which one can easily adapt. Moreover, there are mini-games that make it much more fun! However, not everything is in rose. There’s a major glitch in the game that caused me to begin all over again, which I shan’t mention because it is also a spoiler. Just make sure to save often and in different slots. Furthermore, it took me a few hours to arrive at this spot in the game. When I restarted, it took me thirty minutes to get to the same spot. I was about 65% done with the game! Way too beautiful and addicting of a game to be this short. Once you get the puzzles down, which some can get repetitive, it’s can get easy. Bottom line, it’s definitely worth the money because one can replay it several times to enjoy the artwork and music. It’s also a challenge to oneself to test how well one has already learned the puzzles.

I do love this game, its so visually beautiful, but it does not run full screen, so looks like some old 80s game on a 27" iMac, and the price is pretty steep.

I loved this game. Reminded me of Myst and Riven. Great puzzles. I only wish it was longer!

Theres a bug that people have been complaining about since 2009 and they havent fixed it. If you clear your BROWSER cache, it deletes all your saved games. Fine. I know that now, but I was half way through and have to start all over again (like so many other people! Check the Amanita forums!). Its unnaccpetable that they havent fixed this issue. I wish I hadnt spent my money on this. They take your money then dont patch their bugs. Almost as bad as Steam. No.... nothing is as bad as Steam.

The artwork is amazing and the puzzles are nice and tricky. Very detail oriented - you really need to keep your eyes open for the tiniest of clues. And above all - the music is really well done: one of the most engaging, hip and heartfelt video game soundtracks Ive heard recently, and at least for me the soundtrack really makes the game.

I would love this game if the save feature worked. I have to start over new every time because it just disappears. Fix this and Id give it a great review

Brilliant game but as soon as I quit and go back in all my saved game slots are empty. Im running the latest version of Lion. Please fix

I really enjoyed playing this game. the puzzles and graphics are a lot of fun. However, did anyone else have issues saving? I followed the directions to save my place in the game, but when I exited and came back later to continue, i was forced to restart from the beginning, which was EXTREMELY frustrating.

This app is very good, they need to make another one i have already beat it but im going to beat it again. and i would defeantly get it if they update it to support the iphone 5

The most aesthetically satisfying gaming experience I have had. A BIG plus - no guns and carnage.

This adventure game is what every adventure game should espire to be. I fell in love with the game. The game is a little bit short but well worth the 10.00. Help this company out. They are not huge and every dollar they get will go to the next game they make. I have played every one they made :D Hope this review helps.

There really are not enough in-game clues that point you at what to do next. I had to brute-force almost all the puzzles. Its hard to the point of being aggrivating. The only good part about the game is the art.

This is a wonderful challenging game with fantastic art and a delightful story. I couldve played this game forever! The world that Amanita Design created was visually stimulating and specific as are the clues. The audio track is great. It wasnt ultra short by any means, but it defiinitely left you wanting more. That to me is a function of how great the game is, not the length. Enjoy this game. I played it on the flight to LA and Back until my laptop battery ran out. It made for a easy flight!

Just as described in terms of graphics, point-and-click methodology and overall challenge. Was exactly what i was hoping for. Wish it would have gone longer, perhaps offering another complete adventure or two, especially given the $10 cost. (Seems to be a very common critique). Experienced just 1 software glitch where action froze since I placed my character in an out-of-the-way position. Action came back after quitting the game and then resuming.

I was looking for a game to play with my school-age daughter, and this was perfect. Yes, probably a bit novice for adults, but some very tricky puzzles to work through for any age. Only a few boards into it, but well worth the ten bucks already. Looking forward to a sequel.
