awesome game, cool puzzle but a little too short.

I bought this game and the design aspect of it is awesome but for some reason, Saved games keep disappearing and I have to always restart at the beginning! Come on people! Were back in the stone ages again!!! Fix this problem!!!

This game was very, very good! The art was amazing. It looked wonderful. The story was decent to! At times it was hard, but the walkthrough book helped a lot. I am SO glad I spend the 10 bucks on this game!!!

Worth every Penny. it will keep you entertained for hours.

I cant believe this app has such great reviews. Complete waste of my money and time. Without reading the walkthrough, Id never get through it, and I do consider myself a rather intelligent, well-educated person. Its just a bizarre, silly game, in my opinion.

Gergeous graphics and sounds! Love the desgin, really have an funning time but the game is too short. Hope it could become a long-story game!

I just finished playing this game and I want more. Unique. Hard puzzles but with hints and even solutions built in if you need it. The soundtrack was at times quirky and at times so beautiful it brought a tear to my eye. Machines with stories -- you can really connect with the characters. I wish there was a sixth start for "absolutely fantastic."

My six year old son and I spent a number of mornings lost in this magic world - great art, well thought out gameplay; all with a quirky sense of humor.

Love the game, very addictive. I got pretty far in it, saved my spot and exited the game. When I re-opened the program my saved history was completely gone!!

I love almost everything about this game. As a fan of Myst I have been looking for a long time for a game that would live up to that high standard for making my brain work so hard it would hurt. Machinarium does just that. The story, graphics, music and of course the game play is all I had hoped for. The one and only flaw I can see is what keeps me from rating this at five stars. As others have mentioned, you cant imagine how annoyed I became after working my way deep into the story and saving my game only to go back to it a day or so later and finding all of my saved games missing. How can such a glaring bug not have a fix or update to rectify this issue yet is beyond me. Ive read where some people have found work-around solutions or have even used Time Machine to restore the lost progress. That to me is not a solution to the problem and Amanita Design should be ashamed to offer this product with such a major design flaw. Simple house cleaning of my iMac should not result in games being lost. I fear that Ill never get to the end of the game if my saves keep vanishing. Ill likely just give up and either delete the game or forget about it. Of course, they already have my money so Im sure they dont care. To those thinking of buying this game, keep this in mind. Youve been warned.

Theres one part in this game that was clearly designed for mouse and keyboard controls. The game was perfect until I got to that part and the game became very difficult to control. My MacBooks trackpad wasnt the right tool but there was nothing else I could do. I wish they would have adjusted that one part. That issue aside, its a wonderful world you get to experience, the art is simply fantastic and the game does a great job of communicating the emotion, quirkiness and character of the all robot world. WIth just the right difficulty and a good hint system, the game is superb. Im looking forward to the next release.

Graphics, music, good puzzles. Everything is there but I went through it in a day. Was expecting a little longer for 10$. But I must say it is a great game.

This game was really fun. The artwork was amazing. It was a bit short, but enjoyable from beginning to end. I recommend this game. Ohh, it is a point and click puzzle game, by the way.

A truly beautiful game. Its quirky, artsy, and altogether fun. The puzzles reminded me of those you encounter in MYST. The ambient music just adds to it all. This game is very original, and despite it being a bit short, Id say its worth the ten dollars. Message to the developers: PLEASE make sequel.

The graphics are beautiful, the story line is very interesting, characters very creative, and the game is quite challenging. An excellent game for everyone.

game is awesome but the excess of puzzles which have waay too many possible results is way too much. Everytime you fail to guess the puzzle correctly theres an annoying animated delay which makes it even worse.
